Viever Sound is operated by Solm Systems Ltd. When we say "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean Solm Systems Ltd.
What We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide the Viever Sound service:
- Spotify Account Data: When you connect your Spotify account, we receive your display name, profile image, and Spotify user ID via Spotify's OAuth2 authentication.
- Listening History: We access your recently played tracks through the Spotify API. This includes track names, artist names, album details, and play timestamps.
- Waitlist Email: If you join our waitlist, we store your email address solely for launch notifications.
We do not collect passwords, payment information, or any data beyond what is described above.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Generate your daily Energetic Sound Profile — including emotional tone, energy arc, listening intent, and signal song analysis.
- Show you historical trends and insights based on your past profiles.
- Improve the accuracy of our analysis engine over time.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in encrypted databases. Spotify access tokens are stored server-side and refreshed automatically. We do not store your Spotify password at any point.
We retain your listening data and generated profiles for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time.
Third-Party Services
We use the Spotify Web API to access your listening history. Spotify's own privacy policy governs how they handle your data on their platform. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
What We Don't Do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your data with advertisers.
- We do not use your data for purposes other than generating your sound profile.
- We do not access your Spotify playlists, saved tracks, or social features — only recently played history.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — view everything we hold about you.
- Delete your data — request complete removal of your account and all associated data.
- Disconnect Spotify — revoke our access at any time through your Spotify account settings or within the app.
- Withdraw from the waitlist — unsubscribe at any time.
Children's Privacy
Viever Sound is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via email if you are on the waitlist.
